About Here Today Adopted Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary

In 2011, after working with rescued animals and their people for a combined total of over 25 years, mother-daughter team Barbara Horn and Rachael Max bought 29 acres in Brimfield, Massachusetts and built their dream, Here Today Adopted Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary.

Here Today Adopted Tomorrow is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, volunteer driven group focused on reducing the number of homeless animals in our community through prevention and adoption services. In December of 2012, HTAT opened a cageless adoption center for adult cats and kittens.  It is deeply important to us that every resident's stay at HTAT is comfortable and healthy, making for well-adjusted, happy animals. Many shy and fearful cats that do not do well in a traditional shelter flourish in our setting.

When HTAT opened our adoption center, it quickly became clear that there was a large local population of homeless cats. Our ultimate goal is to decrease the number of animals coming into the shelter system.
