Adopt a Cat
We're thrilled that you're interested in giving an HTAT cat a forever home! Please review our Adoption Process & FAQ before submitting an application.
Some important notes:

Submitting an application does not guarantee, hold, or reserve a cat for you.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. In most cases, we adopt out cats on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Kitten adoptions will continue to be virtual-only until further notice. Please call or email us if you are interested in adopting a kitten.

Please bring a cat carrier with you to pick up your cat.

You must be 18 or older to adopt a cat.

To apply to virtually adopt a cat:

Click the photo of the animal you’d like to adopt below.

Click the “Apply for Adoption” button.

Enter email into the box.

Either create a profile or check your email for a code as instructed.

Complete and submit your application.
Remember, there are several ways to adopt a cat from HTAT, and not all require applications! Before submitting an application, please review our Adoption Process & FAQ to choose the method that works best for you.
